Lane joined HRJ Capital in 2002 from Presidio Financial Partners, an investment banking and personal wealth management firm where he was a partner with responsibility for marketing and business development in the wealth management group. His practice focused on providing investment strategies to high net worth individuals, institutional investors and family offices, both in the U.S. and abroad. He joined Presidio after serving as an Associate Director of Private Banking at the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), where he was responsible for marketing and business development at UBS' San Francisco office. Previously, he was a Senior Financial Analyst with Banco Santander in Madrid, Spain, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and corporate finance. He has held positions with Price Waterhouse and the World Bank. Lane received his Masters in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 1994. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of AIMR and the San Francisco Analysts Society.

John joined HRJ Capital's hedge fund focused affiliate, Olympius Capital, in March 2006 as as a Senior Associate. Effective July 1, 2006, he joined HRJ Capital as Senior Associate. Prior to Olympius Capital, John was an Associate with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and was a member of the Capital Introduction Team. Over the past 5 years at Goldman Sachs he was responsible for introducing hedge fund managers to institutional investors and focused specifically on the West Coast, Midwest and New York regions. John has a B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) and was a member of the Notre Dame Men's Golf Team from 1997 to 1998. He holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses.


Megan joined HRJ Capital in September 2007 from Bank of America, where she was a director, focusing on the delivery of global wealth management & alternative investments through consultative advice and client education. Previously, Megan was a member of the Financial Services department at Robertson Stephens, where she developed institutional relationships and co-headed the firm’s Investment Consulting Group. Prior to Robertson, Megan held marketing & client service positions in San Francisco with Montgomery Asset Management and 3Bridge Capital and in New York City with Oppenheimer Capital and J & W Seligman. Megan received her B.A. in Economics from Wheaton College, maintains NASD licenses 7, 63, 65, and through IMCA & the Wharton School, holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst certificate (CIMA), the Investment Strategist Certificate, and the Alternative Investments Certificate.


Carlton joined HRJ Capital in March of 2008 and is a Vice President/Head of business development in the southeastern United States. Before joining HRJ he was a Managing Director on the institutional marketing team for Harbert Management Corporation. During his tenure with Harbert he helped raise assets on the hedge fund side as well as the private equity and real estate side. Prior to joining Harbert he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston in the Private Wealth Management group. At CSFB he focused on creating investment strategies for family offices, high net worth individuals, and foundations. Carlton has a B.A. in Business Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his time at Georgia Tech he was a four year letterman on the golf team and a two time All-American.


Geoff joined HRJ Capital in 2007 and is responsible for the firm’s marketing efforts, client relations, consultant relations and product development. Prior to HRJ, he worked at Wellington Management Company, LLP for eight years where he focused on client relations and business development within the Public Fund and Corporate areas of the institutional market place. He joined Wellington from Brown Brothers Harriman where he was responsible for the firm’s product development and design of defined contribution products. Additionally, he sat on a 5 person asset allocation board that was responsible for tactical asset allocation portfolios. Geoff earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Denison University and holds a Masters in Investment Management and Finance from Boston University.


Todd joined HRJ in June 2006 as an Associate. Todd has had 10 years sales and business development experience in financial services. Prior to HRJ Capital, Todd was Vice President of National Sales with Aegis Mortgage Corporation and was a member of their Leadership Council. Todd received his Bachelor's Degree from the Washington & Lee University (Lexington, VA.) and a J.D. Degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Kelly is a member of the marketing team at HRJ Capital. She joined in 2005. Previously, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Shadowbrook. Kelly holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.


Kelly joined HRJ Capital in May 2005. Previously, she was the head of investor services at Paul Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm, where she was responsible for all aspects of direct investor communications and investment reporting. Prior to joining Paul Capital, Kelly practiced as a business litigation attorney at Pahl & Gosselin. She received both her Bachelor's Degree and a J.D. Degree from Santa Clara University, and is licensed to practice law in California.


Neha joined HRJ Capital's hedge fund team in October 2002 and serves as the Senior Investor Relations Associate. Prior to joining HRJ Capital, Neha was a Marketing and Investor Relations Associate at Rudick Asset Management, a Bay Area hedge fund manager, where she managed client relationships and reporting for all limited partners and prospective investors. From 1999 to 2001, she served as an Associate Product Manager in Marketing at WIT SoundView Corporation (formerly E*Offering), a San Francisco based online investment bank which focused on opportunities in internet and technology companies. Neha began her career as a Marketing Assistant with Wells Fargo Investment Management's Private Client Services Division in Seattle, WA, where she worked from 1997 to 1999. Neha obtained a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington, where she was a multi-year letter winner on the University of Washington Women's Track & Field Team.


Mia joined HRJ Capital in September 2006 from Citigroup Smith Barney Alternative Investments (SBAI). At SBAI, Mia managed the relationship between more than 20 Fund of Private Equity Funds and Fund of Hedge Funds and Smith Barney. Additionally, Mia was responsible for creating a training program that Smith Barney Financial Consultants were required to complete before selling Alternative Investments to their clients. Mia holds NASD licenses 7, 24 and 63. Mia received a BA from Columbia University in the City of New York.


Eric joined HRJ Capital in June 2007. Prior to HRJ Capital, Eric was a corporate paralegal at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell (DPW). At DPW, Eric spent time in both the capital markets and venture capital areas of practice, ultimately specializing in venture fund formation. Eric began his legal career as a corporate paralegal at Venture Law Group, responsible for the corporate maintenance of emerging technology companies from incorporation to venture financings and through to initial public offering or acquisition. Eric received his Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley.


Michelle joined HRJ Capital in 2004 as a member of the Investor Relations team. She is also the Firm's web administrator. Prior to joining HRJ Capital, Michelle worked in customer service for an insurance company. Michelle earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Amy joined HRJ Capital in 2006. Previously, she worked as an Advertising Assistant at Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine and as the business manager for a small private training company in Los Angeles. Amy holds a B.A. in both Broadcast Journalism (Sports emphasis) and Theatre from the University of Southern California.
